Temporary Closure of Manor Road, Corkscrew Lane and Whitmore Lane

Somerset County Council have informed the Parish Council about the temporary closure of a Manor Road, Corkscrew Lane and Whitmore Lane to ALL TRAFFIC. This will effect Manor Road, westwards from the junction with Whitmore Lane for 45m and Corkscrew Lane, 55m southwards from the junction with Whitmore Lane; including Whitmore Lane from the junction with Manor Road and Corkscrew Lane northwards for a distance of 25m, a total distance of 12 metres. Closure of Manor Road – 20th November 2017

Somerset County Council as the Highway Authority have received an application for the temporary closure of Manor Road from Wessex Water. This road will be closed from 20th November 2017 and is expected to last for 1 night (18.30 – 23.30hrs) to replace a defective cover and frame in the carriageway.
